HEy guys just got here, Tesla bends my mind, and we have the same B-day!

Was wondering if anyone has read the book "man out of time" I read it a long time ago and can not find it anywhere. They discuss in there him having inventing this thing that was to move large objects with sound, and he started a tremor that spanned over an entire city block. Anyone know anything about this? I have suspicions this may be the way the great pyramids were erected.

Cheers,

    Hey Europa,
You are talking about Tesla's "Earthquake Machine". It's an air driven piston which Tesla called a mechanical resonator. The "earthquake" was created when he tested the device, by placing it on a main support in the basement of his building. He matched the frequency of the structure and the rest is history. An interesting side note. In other experiments this mechanical resonator made the needle of a compass spin when set on top of it. I believe all effects are the result of vibrations, ie. waves.

We have come a long way since he invented the Earthquake machine, with technology as it is now one would think it has been <updated> and may be put to use.
